Are you frustrated with your limited success in gaining weight? There are countless stories of people who worked hard at the gym and got nowhere. There is a lot of information out there, much of it conflicting. It’s important to find some solid information and to find programs that work for you.

Now, if you’re trying to gain muscle weight, I bet you’ve eaten more meat than you ever have or even wanted to eat before. It’s a common idea that eating protein is good for your muscles. While this is true, it’s also important to not short your body of the other nutrients that it needs. So, in all your meat shoving hurry, have you made room on your plate for fruits and vegetables?

Vegetables are good for you. No one is going to argue with that. But it’s important to pick some that are going to be good for weight gaining. Look for moist vegetables like lettuce, zucchini and squash. Try eating peas, corn and other types of squashes with your dinner each night. It’s just as important as the protein.

Also, fruits are a great way to add to your diet. They’re a great healthy treat that you can have during the day and they provide plenty of calories for you to later burn and turn into muscle.

The key is to not short yourself when it comes to eating or you’re not doing yourself any favors while trying to gain muscle weight.
